Holy hell, Paul, live on the CNN news now (but not on internet yet) filming live a man in Arizona standing at a town meeting with Obama there with an AR15 (assault weapon) slung over his shoulder. Other people are there also with guns. Law in AZ you can carry a weapon on you and they are invoking their rights. Secret Service more nervous than whores in Church!

Cheryl did your mother have any children that were born not brain dead?
I was in the Navy 1965 -19 68 wounded in Beirut Lebanon during the 1966 six day war.
I was 18 years old on shore when all hell broke loose. The US Navy seals managed to get us out after several of my shipmates were KIA The USA had a perfect opportunity to assist Israel rather then hinder their defense.. read up on your history as an American ship was “accidentally” bombed by Israeli planes as the USN ship in reality was not helping but spying on Israel to make sure the business interests would not be destroyed
such as oil fields etc

As an ex peace officer I have no problem with civilians owning /firing semi- auto’s so called “assault weapons” with is utter BS if one checks the crime static’s
Only a moron would say ban firearms instead of saying lets electrocute drunk drivers who commit murders by car.
The FBI’s and other law enforcement data proves without any doubt civilian gun ownership prevents crimes
The illegal gun owners will always find away to get a weapon.
The ones who need protection the most are the one denied the right to carry such as a woman holding an order of protection or the elderly who sometimes are followed home from the supermarket or the bank and are easy targets for a knife welding mutt.
There is absolutely no valid reason why civilians cannot have a semi auto rifle /shot gun or even a fully automatic rifle if so inclined and properly registered.
At the range I saw just as many women as men and once someone is properly trained NRA etc you will find they are less likely to shoot someone unarmed or in the back as many law enforcement have perpetrated over the years all over the globe..
NYC had a few unarmed people killed by the NY Finest, Kenya police shot a few The Clinton regime slaughtered a family by shooting the child in the back and a BATF sniper killing his unarmed mother.
If a civilian shoots someone in a drug related crime al hell breaks lose as folks scream see a gun was used but the news never mentions if they are licensed or even legally allowed to own a gun.

Jill, that is okay. I just wasn’t in the mood to put up with frabrications by someone who comes across to me as an extremist big mouth, not to mention he used Navy Vet for a name. How do you sort thru the BS he wrote to find even a fiber of truth? He says he doesn’t own guns but if they take guns away from people … and try registration …. he’d go out and buy one on the streets. Interesting, he claims he doesn’t own guns but yet against registration of them and would buy one illegally off the streets? With that statement and others he made in another posting, I don’t believe he doesn’t own guns and most likely he doesn’t want to register the ones he owns. Did you take note what name he called Obama? Then, he finds it necessary to describe for all the readers to read how he claims to have killed an enemy soldier? Then read his rantings and ravings referring to the “Clinton Regime of Terror”, Reno, Waco, etc. in another posting.
You are correct, Jill, Freedom of Speech and even the wackos in this country have the right to that.

Navy Vet, get your facts straight. Ethel Kennedy’s nephew is the one who stood trial for allegedly killing a neghbor’s daughter with a golf club when young. He is NOT a blood relative to the Kennedy family. Teddy drove off a bridge back in the late 60’s and a young woman was in the car with him. She was found drown in that car the next morning. Teddy was NOT charged with murder. You said the Kenndy Klan ‘murdered’ four women? Who are the FOUR women you claimed were murdered and what are the names of the Kennedy men who were charged with their murder?
Your comment about why the men were there is so ridiculous one can’t even laugh at it. There is a Navy joke quite applicable to you: “What’s the difference between a Fairytale and a Navy Story? A Fairytale begins ‘once upon a time’ and a Navy Story begins ‘this ain’t no shite’!”
Interesting, Navy Vet. I’ve been around military men who actively fought in Wars all my life but never heard one brag and describe how they killed the enemy soldier.

For those who don’t know the history, check out the Kennedys. At least 2 women have died: one due to a drowning (drunk driving off a bridge into a creek, the boys escaped but left the woman to drown), and of course the bludgeoning of a young girl by a Kennedy with a golf club.
I agree that safe gun use is the norm, rape is more prevalent, the Constitution entitles us to certain rights - and with those rights come responsibility.
I fear for the message being sent by those who are “practicing their right to bear arms” at a presidential event.
We’ve got some crazies here in our country, folks! Don’t give them any ideas!
Next thing we know, we’re going to have another Squeaky Fromme - but this time there might be bullets in the gun.

The people have no clue to what is a real assault firearm
An SKS for example like a Saiger are semi autos cheap and good for deer hunting with slightly less power then a 30- 30 with ther same powder charge
If one wants to dress up a Rudger 10 22 for example it may look like an “assault rifle” but in reality it is still a 22
The 30 cal M-1 carbine is by no means considered an assault weapon even by the military,
A man can “assault” a woman with just the equipment God gave him yet there is no public out cry (yet) to remove this possible instrument of possibly rape
Moderator - My my it must get a tad uncomfortable for American woman pregnant with boys and their rather nasty toys (guns)

The only “Assault” weapons were used by two men on the left coast and of course during the Clinton Regime of terror when HELLery ordered Janet KILL EM Reno to shot a child in the back and had a sniper kill the the child’s unarmed mother and settled out of court “wrongful death”

When I was in the navy I was able to use my knife to slice a combatants throat and took his rifle and sidearm to gain my freedom .. Here I was given a medal for freeing myself and others in Beirut in 1966 and If I had that same rifle today Id be possibly jailed for not reading the terrorists rights as Obama Hassan would have demanded

When you allow one right to be taken away the rest will follow just read history books and look at the cities and countries with anti citizen gun laws
IMAGINE all the males in the group all having a penis and yet not one woman was raped.
The men with the rifles / pistol were there to show their support for the constitution and to protect the president from possible rattle snakes.
I would be more afraid The Senators named Kennedy as so far the Kennedy klan took the lives of 4 women and managed to murder them all with out any firearms as DROWNING and Golf clubs are the Kennedy choice of murders

Jill, worth reading about the public service they do, news letters and other information is free. Great public service for those who care and are concerned about what the sick Groups in this country are up to.
You are correct, one does not use assault weapons for hunting game. Men who strut around with assault weapons slung over their shoulders I think must have masculinity problems and the assault weapons make them feel like a big man.
It is a Right to Bear Arms and ones’ Rights should not be taken away. However, we do need tighter laws and uniform laws governing that Right to Bear Arms. Every State has their own laws governing ownership of guns and that just won’t do. We have to have a uniform law throughout the US. No citizen needs to own an assault type weapon least of all strut around town with it or carry it in their car. People who are truly responsible and sane should be allowed to own hand guns and hunting rifles properly licensed and registered.

Cheryl i agree with you 100 percent. Nobody besides law enforcement and the Secret Service should be allowed to carry a weapon of any sort around any place that the President of the United States is attending. I have never heard of this type of thing happening to any other of our presidents. If anyone has please let me know where i can research it and find out for myself. That is outrageous. Now if our right to bear arms was taken from us because of the dangers of this type of incident then everybody will be all pissed off would’nt they.

I hope assault weapons ARE made illegal again. They are not necessary for defense and I don’t think you can hunt with them, can you?

Jill, it was obvious that in last week and this week’s episodes they were making a statement ‘Our Right to Bear Arms’. What was interesting to me was it was reported that not just the man shown was carrying an assault weapon but reported another was also carrying one today. That was a statement being made - odds are the assault type weapons are once again going to be banned in the US for individuals to buy and the NRA is rebel rousing up their members over that. However, Jill, this keeps up with making statements Right to Bear Arms when President Obama is in the area, over time it could possibly set the opportune stage for someone exercising their Right to Bear Arms to use it. Maybe never - but, unfortunately, I wouldn’t wager on that never. If the public thinks for a second the extremist groups and militia are quieting down over Obama being elected they better think twice.
A wealth of information can be gotten from the Southern Policy Law Center, a non-profit organization that closely monitors and reports to the Government and to any interested public via newsletter on the ongoing activities of extremists groups throughout the U.S. In fact, as an aside, that is where I got most of my information from re the activities of the BNP when coming over here.

It was sweet. There were eight of us openly carrying handguns (Glock 21 for me). City of Phoenix police were very well behaved and stayed back, and never bothered us. Only the libertarians were packing. Had a few Republican types say something to the effect they wish they had brought theirs. Pussies.
The Secret Service was very VERY unhappy…I am guessing with the Phoenix PD unwilling to arrest us. I was not surprised. When I did a Google aerial view Saturday of the Convention Center where Obama was talking I could see that the groups were organizing along the front, and there were many ways Obama could be snuck into the back of the Center without having to pass by the mob. Which is what they did. Which is fine…I was there for the cameras and government officials. And the Secret Service got ot experience young puks armed with guns and video cameras asking, “Hey, how about an interview?” with a camera stuck in their face. We are the media.
FOur hours or more of protestors/ supporters. In the sun. Wasn’t bad. Fairly well behaved mobs.

The shock is that they are permitted to be on the premises carrying a gun least of all an assault weapon when the President of the US is present. This is rather a first for the police or Secret Service to knowingly permit to happen around a President. If anyone had quickly started shooting an assault weapon the police would have been dead before they had time to even reach for their guns. There is that far fetched possibility that maybe they really aren’t overly hyper about it because of that bullet proof clothing that was made for and worn by President Obama! Call some of us paranoid, if you want, but there is too much movement taking place in the White Supremists Groups and militias …
