Dizzee Rascal Goes Nutso Against Radio 1

Dizzee Rascal is a loveable scamp isn’t he? He went from grime king to the molly court jester who appeared on Newsnight saying he wouldn’t mind being Prime Minister.

He probably doesn’t stand much of a chance now as his diplomacy skills have been left wanting after he went off on one against Radio 1 on Twitter.

Glastonbury In Pictures: Snoop Dogg’s Pigtails Do The Dizzee Rascal

GLASTONBURY welcomed Snoop Dogg onto the Pyramid Stage on the festival’s first day. Snoop wore pigtail and a huge knuckler duster with his name on it. What with the shorter-term memory stuff, this is advisable. Also playing on Day 1 were Dizzee Rascal – now a shouter for Ing-er-land – and La Roux, Danny’s little girl all grown up…

Selfridge’s Paloma Faith, Florence & The Machine And Dizzee Rascal In Sounds Of The Mind

ANORAK’s favourite Chromatron Paloma Faith is sat in the window of London’s Selfridge’s department store. She’s in Dorothy’s stripper heels, Jimmy Savile’s hoisted up tracky bums and Mini Mouse’s muffs. It’s a look that can only catch on. Also there is Marina Diamandis, of Marina and the Diamonds. The project called Sounds of the Mind sees the likes of Florence & The Machine, Dizzee Rascal and Hot Chip created a display inspired by their songs. It’s look inside the mind of an artist. Police, the Obscene Publications Squad and the signers’ accountants have been contacted…

Lily Allen Does MEN With Dizzee Rascal: In Pictures

DIZZEE Rascal had another go at saving the British music industry from Simon Cowell’s pap factory at The Manchester Evening News Arena, in Manchester. Also there was celebrity pop mouth Lily Allen, the reformed Luddite fresh from reassembling her computer and Tweeting that Courtney Lover is an old crone:

She’s upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the brit awards. She’s made no secret of this and, when i saw her at the NME’s she tried to talk to me and i told her to shut up and stop spreading stupid rumours about me.”

“And thats pretty much it. I would never fight with her, as a rule I don’t pick on crazy old ladies.”

So she ended it there. Until she didn’t:

it’s the sort of thing a paranoid drug addled lunatic might come up with.

Dizzee Rascal Kicks The Camera At London’s 02, In Pictures

DIZZEE Rascal is everything you don’t get on the X Factor: freedom, talent and style. While Simon Cowell turns music into a GCSE in marketing, a thing that can be passed and failed at the behest of the professor of pap (Cole, Walsh and Minogue), music exists. Anorak brings you the best pictures from Dizzee Rascal at the O2 centre. How close were we to the star? Any closer and you’d be wearing him…

Peter Andre Falls From Stage

peter-andre3POP acron Peter Andre is live and singing and falling of the stage at T4 on the Beach at Weston-Super-Mare.

Reasons for his fall:

a) He slipped on the lake of tears for poor Pete?
b) With no Jordan to lean on, Pete has no ballast – he may one day blow away?
c) It’s the most entertaining part of his act and the hope is that people will flock to see him fall off some of the world’s greatest stages?
d) He walks like he sings?
e) It was a suicide attempt?
f) It’s what Michael Jackson would have wanted
g) None or all of the above.
