Property Developers Remove All Stairs to Woman’s Seventh Floor Flat
IN a bid to evict Zhao Yanhong, 42, and her family from her seventh floor flat in Mianyang, south west China, the owners have removed all the stairs. And there’s no lift.
The owners want to build a factory on the site. The talk is of thugs making residents offers they cannot refuse. But Yanhong will noy budge. Says she:
“Then one day they turned up with machines and men and knocked out all the stairs to strand us here. They are just trying to bully us out of our home. The only way we can get out now is through ladders and climbing but it is very dangerous.”

Woman Rapes Boy In X-Box Live Room
RACHEL Ann Hicks, 36, of Lake Forest, California, is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old Maryland boy she met in a X-Box live chat room.
The claim is that she pretended to be 23 as they exchanged emails and photos. And then on 27 November 2010, Hicks drove to see the alleged victim.

William Alan Givan And The Tennessee Meth Monkeys
SO how did William Alan “Monkey Man” Givan get his nickname? Well, here’s the story of one man who in his hourof greatest need was protested by his animal pals:
We join the The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics’ Unit, Tennessee, outside the home of William Alan “Monkey Man” Givan, 40.
Mr Givan is outside. Officers smell meth on the wind and on Givan. He signs a consent form for his home to be searched. He utters:

It’s OK To Rape A Woman In Somalia So Long As You Don’t Shake Her Hand
TO Somalia, where the Islamist group al-Shabab has banned men from shaking hands with women – and women from shaking hands with men.
The proscribed move is not to shake their breasts. Nor is to rape the woman and then have her stoned to death.
In the southern town of Jowhar, any man is forbidden from talking or walking with woman to whom he is not related. Anyone not obeying the law will be publicly flogging.
Or maybe an enforced marriage to the man who looked at you funny.

Student Deniz Ozgun’s Porn Film Dissertation Shocks Turkey
DENIZ Ozgun wowed the knobs at Istanbul’s Bilgi University by producing a porn film for his final year dissertation.
His film failed in its mission to portray a multi-layered meaning in a postmodern miasma of…etc. He did not pass. The man whose website tells of his “general interest in women” failed. But he did tell a local organ about it.
And as a polemic the film is a raging success. The private university’s film department has been shut. Three academics have been sacked. And police are investigating.

Orange Alligator Spotted In Florida: Photo
A GINGER alligator has been spotted in Florida. Sylvia Mythen spotted it:
“When I was coming back from work this morning, I passed by and I thought I saw what I thought I saw, but I had to back up and come and look again. I thought, ‘This is great. I’m going to snap a picture and send it to my grandkids so they think I’m one of the coolest grandmas in Florida.'”

Kelly Zierdt, 11, Is Up Before Judge For Writing Her Name In Wet Cement
KELLY Zierdt is the 11-year-old New Jersey sixth-grader up before a judge on a charge of writing her name in wet cement outside their Middlesex Township Middle School. Police captured Zierdt and her mates in the act of writing her name.
And then, as her dad says, the situation “has snowballed into this giant catastrophe“.

Two Wives Attack Man For Marrying Fifth Wife (Video)
TO Gujranwala city, Pakistan, where Mian Ishaq is being beaten up by two of his wives who claim he was about to marry a fifth woman.
The scene is a friend’s wedding reception. Mr Ishtaq is in attendance with his third wife, Fauzia. All si fine. And then wives Mehvish and Uzma and “dozens” or their relatives arrive uninvited.
Says Umza on the TV news:
“We know that he is trying to marry a fifth time and he should be publicly humiliated for his behaviour.”

Man Builds Bomb Inside Vibrator
TERRY Allen Lester, 37, of Waseca, MN., has bene charged with hiding a bomb inside a sex toy.
The story goes that Lester had been forced to leave an apartment where he’d been staying with two women. He’d left behind some bags. The women called the police. An officer attended. He found a box on which was written “Christmas Gifts”.
And inside was a modified sex toy. It contains gun powder, BB shot and buck shot from shotgun shells. It was wired to a trigger (taken from a cordless drill) and battery port.

The 2011 Haxey Hood Game: Photos
IT’S time for North Lincolnshire’s 2011 Haxey Hood Game between the hamlets of Haxey and Westwoodside. Dale Smith paints his face black for his role as ‘The Fool’ and gets the game underway on January 6th, known locally as Old Christmas Day.
It’s a veritable fetish fest as the leather ‘hood’ is tossed into the crowd of burley men. The hood is a metre-long length of rubber hose. must not be kicked not thrown forwards. It should be ‘swayed’ to the goal (one of the village’s four pubs). Order is maintained by the Boggins, lead by the chief Boggin.

Chinese Man With Horn Growing From Head Saves The Rhino
HUANG Yuanfan, of China, has a horn growing from the back of his head. He is 84.
He is same age as Hugh Hefner, whose horn is a matter of much debate and frenzied plumping.
Huang’s Horn is three inches long. It is something of a grower not a shower. It’s getting longer.
Says he:
“I tried picking at it and even filing it but nothing changed it. The horn just kept getting bigger. Doctors say they don’t know what caused it but if they try to take it off it will just come back. I try to hide it beneath a hat but if it gets much longer it will be sticking out the top.”

DOMINIK Sejda (born a woman called Ilona Tomeckova and now a man) married Andre (born a man called Tomas Kajzar and now a woman) 15 years ago in what is now the Czech Republic.
Dominik already had a son called Radim. He is now a woman called Viktoria.

Boy Buried In Computer To Read Emails In Afterlife
WHEN Hu Chuang, of China, died at his computer screen mid-email his family ordered his headstone to look like a monitor, keyboard and a mouse.

Murdered Politician Captured His Killer On Camera Moments Before He Was Shot
TO the Philippines, where Caloocan City politico Reynaldo Dagsa has been shot and killed by the man he has just captured on his camera.
It is New Year’s Eve. Mr Dagsa has been awoken to celebrate. He goes outside onto the street. Fireworks are being left off. Amid the explosive din, a bullet is fired. Mr Dagsa is struck in the chest and arm. He dies.
But right before he was shot he took a photo of his family. Behind them was his killer. Pistol cocked. Eyes narrowed.

Can India’s Handwritten Newspaper Save The Dead Tree Press?
CAN Utkarsh Tripathi save the old media from the technological onslaught with his handwritten newspaper, the weekly Jagriti?
Young Tripathi, of the Brij Bihari Sahai Inter College in Allahabad, Utkarsh, India, forgoes the Murdoch model and works as vendor, reporter, editor and publisher.
He tells us:
“I know, you would like to know how I publish the newspaper. First I prepare a handwritten copy of Jagriti and later take out copies at a photocopy shop in my locality… It’s simple.”

Giant Fox Caught In Kent: Boy Smiles
WHEN twins Lola and Isabella Koupparis were attacked by a fox in their London home, the media went full out for the fox. Foxes were monsters that must be killed. The urban fox hunter went to work.
Now, we see a photo of a huge 26.5lb fox trapped in a Maidstone, Kent, garden by vet Keith Talbot.
Mum and dad had told Keith that a fox had killed and ripped to bits their pet cat Amber. The fox was made to pay.
