Nine Premiere LA In Pictures: Presented By Nicole Kidman’s Tongue
THE Los Angeles Premiere of the film NINE took in the magical otherworldly moment when line-free and tall Nicole Kidman stood in the middle of pneumatic Penelope Cruz and Black Eyed Peas main warbler Stacy Ferguson. Kidman looked likes a tongue lolling from between two labradoodles. Look out for the image of Kidman trying to re-connect with Tom Cruise’s mother ship, the pain and the pity as Cruz and Ferguson each catch site of the other, and the woman who appears to have picked up Ferguson’s scent – enjoy all the pictures:

St Trinian’s 2 – The Legend of Fritton’s Gold Premiere, In Pictures
PALOMA Faith is fast turning into Anorak’s celebrity mascot, arriving at all the dos to have her picture taken, give a cheeky looks over her shoulder and wear clothes that should come with a dimmer switch and a packet of Chewits. We couldn’t miss the international model of mystery as she arrived at the UK premiere of St Trinian’s 2 – The Legend of Fritton’s Gold (plot spoiler: suspenders and sauce in colour) at London’s Empire, Leicester Square. In Pictures: Sophia Hyatt, Sarah Jessica Parker And Hugh Grant At The Morgans Premiere
LAST night Anorak was standing by minding Old Mr Anorak’s sedan in Soho, when we spotted Sam Elliott, Hugh Grant, Sarah Jessica Parker and Marc Lawrence at the gala premiere of Did You Hear About the Morgans? at the Odeon, Leicester Square. Also there was Liz Hurley, who achieved a career based on wearing a safety to a showbiz do. Noel Reno adapted that theme by tying up holes with bits of yellow thread and wearing them. But the pick of the bunch was Sophia Hyatt a TV actress who seems top be a perpetual audition for a role in Footballers’ Wives. Did she steal the show? Is her outfit a sign of things to come when oil runs out and our walk-in wardrobes are plunged into darkness? And is Old Mr Anorak about to see Ms Hyatt and make a terrible faux pas on the red carpet… The pictures:

Susan Boyle Behaves Like A Cat For Spinster Elaine Paige
SUSAN Boyle: The destruction of Susan Boyle moves on as Susan behaves “oddly” and “erratically” as she records I Dreamed A Dream: The Susan Boyle Story for TV.
Susan Boyle was on the stage to sing I know Him So Well with Elaine Paige. Says Boyle:
“I never thought I would see myself standing on the same stage with such an icon from West End theatre, let alone singing with her as an equal.”
Great stuff. But the media narrative is of Boyle the victim not Boyle the popstar. The Telegraph gets the ball rolling by billing Boyle as “the Scottish spinster” and telling readers:
However, members of the audience were left stunned by Boyle’s erratic behaviour when she broke into an energetic dance routine while performing the gentle ballad Who I Was Born To Be. It has been reported that Boyle repeated the impromptu jig during a second take despite being asked by producers to remain still.
Well, if tit worked for Jedward, whose Duracell Gonk dancing earned them the epithet “entertaining”, it can work for Susan Boyle?It might even work for Elaine Paige, who has never been married but is not billed as a childless spinster.
Well, no because Susan Boyle is ever the media’s hairy nutter in the shopping precinct, as the Star reports:

X Factor: Danyl Johnson And Lucie Jones Together, In Pictures
X FACTOR semi-finalist Danyl Johnson was spotted with Lucie Jones in Selfridges, London, singing for Louise Redknapp and Lisa B. It’s all in aid of Christmas sing-along to raise money for the charity Mothers4Children. That’s Danyl, not yet back to teaching and replacing his “y” with an “i”, singing with his eyes closed. In other news, the X Factor is now only on the Star’s front page, thereon news that next year’s X Factor live-ish final will be at Wembley Arena and will be won by a tight-bodied, photogenic, compliant young woman called Cheryl. THIS week’s OK! magazine comes in a pack of four. There are “FOUR GREAT MAGS FOR ONLY £2.95”. The effect is like those bundled porn magazines on the top shelf at the newsagent’s, whereby porn publishers stuff a load of old, recycled filth in a cellophane wrapper and advertise loadsa mags for a fiver.
Incidentally, Richard Desmond, owner of OK! magazine, also broadcasts porn on the telly and the web. How long before he slips OK! into a back copy of his former OK! stable mate Asian Babes or the Red Hot TV guide to stave off buyers’ embarrassment?

Lady GaGa Grants The Queen And Miley Cyrus An Audience: Royal Variety Show In Pictures
TO Blackpool for the Royal Variety Performance, with Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus and Bette Midler. As AA Gill said, the French guillotine their Royals, we make ours go to Blackpool to watch a variety show. But Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip did pretty well. As well as Gaga and Cyrus, they saw Chaka Khan, Anastasia and Michael Buble. They got to see American stars. Shakira Addresses The Oxford Union, In Pictures
HAVING spotted Shakira performing at the O2 centre one day earlier (pictures here), Anorak was at our alma mater to see the Colombian address students at the Oxford Union. Shakira was invited to speak at the world-famous debating society – 186 years in existence. Shakira, it says here, is talking about her charitable deeds in South America in her role as an ambassador for UNICEF. They come to listen – and maybe to spot Shakira wearing a pair of very giving hot pants while crawling along the floor giving full throat to “Lucky that my breasts are small and humble”. Says she:
“I must admit I am somewhat mystified as to why you are here, as there won’t be any singing or any hip shaking whatsoever. So how do I go from Barranquilla, Colombia, to occupy the same stage as Newton and Churchill? Lord knows I’m no Mother Teresa.”

X Factor: Danyl Johnson Is Out, Cheryl Cole Must Be Pleased
X FACTOR: It’s the X Factor semi-final, featuring nice Joe McElderry, twitchy Olly Murs, gasping Stacey Solomon and Cheryl Cole-inspired hate figure Danyl Johnson.
Which act is the least average? It’s going to be very close. Before the result, Lady Gaga sings Bad Romance in the manner of an aged Madonna gingerly getting out the bath.
Janet Jackson does some trademarked Michael Jackson moves and sings something familiar-ish. Dermot O’Leary does not interview her, so no need to mention Michael Jackson.

Joanna Kupa Is Peta’s Naked Dump Animal Of The Month, In Pictures
JOANNA Krupa is Pete’s Dumb Animal of the Month. Krupa has featured on the cover of thes fine publications: ENVY, FHM, Personal, Inside Sport, Stuff, Steppin’ Out, Teeze, and Maxim. She has modelled knickers and appeared in Playboy.
To paraphrase the Peta mantra, Joanna Kupa would rather go naked – or nearly naked – than wear fur or pretty much anything else so long as it earned her a crust.
Turns out that Kupa is not only spokesperson for dumb animals but Jesus Christ, too. Says she:
“We’re trying to spread the word that breeding isn’t the way to go. In my heart I know that Jesus would never condone the suffering that results when dogs and cats are allowed to breed.”

It would be hard to find an organization in the U.S. which treats animals more unethically than People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). In 2008, as demonstrated by the Center for Consumer Freedom, PETA killed 95 percent of the adoptable pets in its care. Indeed, it killed an average of 6 pets a day last year at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters, placing only seven in adoptive homes. Between 1998 and 2008, it killed a total of 21,339 cats and dogs. To top it off, despite a budget of $32 million, PETA does not operate an adoption shelter.

After 17 Consecutive Katie Price Front Pages, The Daily Star Turns To Beckham
HUGE shocks for Daily Star readers looking for daily news of Katie Price yesterday.
After 17 consecutive days of gracing the paper’s cover, Jordan was replaced on the front page by a picture of David Beckham in a tweedy tie, an advert for a “FREE” Christmas tree for every reader (the tree is about ten-inches high) and a picture of I’m A Celebrity winner Gino In Da Campo.
