Tabloids Use Thushara Kamaleswaran To Demonise Blacks, Youth And Tories

THUSHARA Kamaleswaran has been shot in the chest by what the Mail says are villains “believed to be members of opposing black gangs.” And 35-year-old Roshan Selvakumar, was shot in the face by the youths who fired into the shop in Stockwell, South London.

Miss Kamaleswaran is 5 years old. As one Anorak reader notes, for a non-blonde, non-white victim to feature on the cover of the Mail, she needs to be either very young or very famous. Or else the perpetrators need to be black.

The Sun sums up what happened:

CCTV footage from a nearby shop showed the two intended victims milling around the food and wine store. Occasionally, they went out into the street and walked up and down. Three minutes before the attack one of the thugs – in a dark hoodie – rolls past on a metal-coloured bike. The intended victims left the scene, only to return being chased by the gang.

Teens Risk Their Eyes Using Vodka Tampons: Video

DID you hear the one about the vodka tampon? The Local reports on goings on in Germany, where police are worried about a “dangerous new form of alcohol abuse” – inserting vodka-soaked tampons into their vaginas and anuses to get wasted.

Drinking via these novelty orifices apparently hides the small of booze on the breath. But it is dangerous. Police, experts in teenage health, say booze can damage vaginal walls.

But how do we know any kidz are doing it?

The trend arose among teens in the United States, where it is known as “slimming.” But it has reportedly caught on in Scandinavia and other places where alcohol is difficult for young people to acquire.

THE sex trial of Italian septuagenarian Silvio Berlusconi welcomes Cristiano Ronaldo and George Clooney.

Berlusconi is the despot who stands accused of, while not being as big as Hosni Mubarak and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and fucking entire countries, nonetheless shagging enough locals to be noticed.

Clooney and Ronaldo are on a list of 78 witnesses named by the prime minister to defend him against charges of sex with under-aged prostitute Karima el-Mahroug. Berlusconi is also accused of using and abusing his position to intervene on Mahroug’s behalf when she was detained by police on suspicion of theft.

City Boy Harry Fildes’ Emails About Ex Lover Jenni Palmer Go Viral

MEET Harry Fildes, formerly of Shrewsbury public school and now residing in Fulham. Fildes is the captain of the Old Salopian Football Club first XI who says it’s OK for his teammate, one Sebastian Marsh, to date his ex-girlfriend, one Jenni Palmer – the woman he still lives with.

Fildes works at GL Hearn. And it is from his work email that he sent his good luck message. Only, he also sent it by mistake to Miss Palmer. And now everyone has seen it.

Says Fildes in another email:

“I am in so much shit it’s unreal.

The emails go like this – and if you like the mishaps of Bertie Wooster, you will enjoy Marsh. Fildes is far less gallant. The tone of the Marsh missives is jovial and rather sweet, actually:

How accurate would you say that is!? Just to let you know I haven’t and I won’t even think about it if you have any sort of problem with me persuing … not my style to step on a mates toes for the sake of a girl!

Ian Tomlinson Death Inquest: Was He Drunk And ‘Vacant When The Police Attacked?

THE televised death of Ian Tomlinson has a new episode. A new video shows his final moments.

The death inquest into how Ian Tomlinson came to die at the G20 protests has begun. Mr Tomlinson died on 1 April 2009. The jury, sitting at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in Fleet Street, London, will review the evidence.

Judge Peter Thornton QC, sitting as assistant deputy coroner at the central London hearing, says that Dr Freddy Patel’s initial verdict that Mr Tomlinson died of natural causes will be examined. Dr Patel’s opinion was contradicted by pathologists Nat Cary and Kenneth Shorrock who said Tomlinson died of internal bleeding. Says the judge:

“There is likely to be controversy too about the finding of Dr Patel in the first post-mortem of the presence of fluid in the abdomen and to what extent it contained blood. But I will say no more at this stage.”

Japan’s Media Apocalypse: The Oxfordshire Nuclear Plume

JAPAN’S Media Apocalypse: Anorak’s look at the media’s desire for a nuclear meltdown.

Time for more from Richard Shears – his last effort was memorable:

Hundreds of pregnant women are fleeing Japan’s east coast and capital Tokyo over fears that radiation from the Fukushima nuclear plant will harm their unborn babies.

Hospitals in the Osaka region, 450 miles from the crippled power station which is spewing radiation into the air, have been inundated with requests from mothers-to-be seeking a safe place to give birth.

Shears has also been writing in the Mail again:

Radiation from the Fukushima leak has been detected across Britain, it was confirmed today as Japan was put on ‘maximum’ alert.

The Health Protection Agency revealed that radioactive iodine had already been discovered 5,500 miles from the stricken plant in Oxfordshire and Glasgow.

The news comes as it was reported that the radioactive core of the stricken reactor has melted through the bottom of its containment vessel, onto a concrete floor, raising fears of a full scale meltdown.

Air samples are being tested elsewhere in Britain over fears that much of the country could be hit by the radioactive plume.

Five Reasons Why Scotland Fans Did Not Racially Abuse Brazil’s Neymar

BRAZIL’S Neymar was booed at the Brazil versus Scotland match. A banana was tossed onto the pitch. Here’s why it wasn’t racism and Scotland are innocent.

1. A banana is a piece of fruit. The last time a Scotland fan was seen with banana at a football match it was the mid 1980s and the fruit was made of plastic and air.

Image: The modern version of the Scots banana can be fried and battered.

Libya: How Iran And Syria Got Away With Mass Murder In Lockerbie

LIBYA – billed on the BBC TV news as a cosy “Conflict” and not a proper war, is a pathetic escapade based on emotion and greed. The anti-Gaddafi forces are called the “rebels“. But the real rebel looks more like Gaddafi. Madame Arcati takes a look:

WHILE Britain, America, France and other mighty nations play space invader games over the Libyan Desert, nudge-winkingly plotting the overthrow of the unloved Gaddafi, my mind keeps turning back to Private Eye‘s late and celebrated investigative reporter Paul Foot and his well-argued alternative view of the Lockerbie atrocity.

In 2004 he wrote in The Guardian: ‘The Lockerbie bombing was carried out not by Libyans at all but by terrorists based in Syria and hired by Iran to avenge the shooting down in the summer of 1988 of an Iranian civil airliner by a US warship.’

Israel Apartheid Week Is A Canard That Dishonours South African Blacks

IS Israel an apartheid state, as the supporters of Israel Apartheid Week declare? No. It isn’t. The campaign is a canard. It is a media easily myth undone by anyone who has visited the place. Are the Israeli settlers and the Palestinians kept apart. Yes. why? Because their are violent elements at large. There are bigots of every hue  who do not want to live in harmony. But that is not apartheid. That is war.

Sian O’Callaghan’s Death Is Invaded By The Grief Circus

SIAN O’Callaghan: As Christopher Halliwell is charged with the 22-year-old’s murder, thousands gather in Swindon to pay tribute to the victim.

It is a sign of a community come together over something terrible. Sad, indeed, that it takes something awful to bring a community together. The locals are sharing a common feeling. The self-interested individual is able to empathise with another man’s pain in moment of humanity.

From another angle, it is a grief fest, a chance for strangers to join in the big story and make it part of their lives.

Why Did Anti-Cuts Rioters Attack Charitable Fortnum & Mason’s?

WHY was Fortnum & Mason’s attacked during yesterday’s the anti-cut protest? Fortnum’s is owned by a charity:

The Trustees would therefore be looking to make grants
of around £40 million as usual during the next financial year.

The grants made, as usual, support a wide range of
charitable activities, but the largest overall grants in
terms of value were made in the Art (total £5,680,500)
and Education (total £11,985,166) categories. These
included a lead grant of £3 million to the British
Museum for the new Research Institute for Science
and Conversation and a grant of £1 million to the Royal
Opera House towards core costs. A grant of £1 million
was also made to the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign
and a further pledge for that sum was made to English
Heritage towards the redevelopment of Stonehenge.
Cancer Research UK received a £500,000 grant for its
Clinical Trials Unit in Manchester and there were eight
other grants for this amount. The remaining grants
were mostly for £250,000 or less, thus enabling the
Trustees to provide core support for as wide a range of
projects as possible.

Images That Glorify Violence Against State Control: TUC March Photos

WANT to see images of the violence from the TUC March For The Alternative in London – the protest against Government spending cuts? Of course you do? Marches are by their nature boring. You walk. You chant. You gather. You go home. But what we want is serious opposition. A palsied, bloated, gout-ravaged Labour Party can’t even hit the Coalition Government’s massive white elephant-sized arse with an expenses account.

Sian O’Callaghan: Swindon ‘Serial Killer’ Chris Halliwell’s Ice Picks

SIAN O’Callaghan: Chris Halliwell has not been charged with any crime. He is only helping the police with their inquiries.

But the media wants to speculate and point the finger. This is not without substance – Halliwell has, apparently, led the police to Miss O’Callaghan’s body and pointed them towards a field in Gloucestershire where he says another body is buried.

Still, the press can’t stick to the most basic of facts and the Independent’s i tabloid announced yesterday:

“Police find two bodies in search for missing PA Sian O’Callaghan”

Only, they didn’t.

As for the facts, the Mirror reports:

SIAN O’Callaghan was caught on camera jumping into the taxi of the man suspected of murdering her, police revealed yesterday.
