Tyler Dixon And Media Bias Presents A History Of Attacks On Politicians: In Pictures

TYLER Dixon tossed an egg at David Cameron. But did it hit the Conservative leader? What says the media of goings on at Cornwall College Saltash? You see, a simple act of tossing an egg can be whatever you want it to if you have an agenda to push. Before the agendas can be presented as new, here is a brief pictorial history of attacks on politicians – taking in a floral attack on Maggie Thatcher, an eclair for Nick Brown, an egg for John Prescott, that egg for Cameron, another egg for Ruth Kelly and some slime for Peter Mandelson…

Barack Obama Refuses To Die In a Plane Crash, Poland Weeps

POLAND’S President Lech Kaczynski Obama dies in a plane crash. The air above western Europe is pebble–dashed with Volcanic ash from Iceland (oh, dread nation) and the Washington Post says Barak Obama failed to get to the funeral. Here’s the headline:

Obama skips Polish funeral, heads to golf course

Skips? Ok, Obama plays a lot of golf. Joseph Curl says Obama has played golf 32 time since taking office in Jan. 20, 2009. Obama has, most likely, played more golf than Tiger Woods. But did Curl expect Obama to fly through the no-fly zone and risk dying in a plane crash to pay his respects to a man who, er, died in a plane crash?

In Pictures: The Tea Party Protest Bigots And Other Journalists

THE Tea Party protestors are on the move. And one NBC reporter has her own story to chase. Are the Tea Party people racists? Because you know that Barack Obama is black? Here’s the woman with an agenda asking a black protester is he doesn’t feel “uncomfortable”. See if you can spot the bigot?

Julius Malema Racially Attacks The BBC’s Jonah Fisher

IN South Africa Eugene Terreblanche is dead. The Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB) leader was killed by two black men. And Julius Malema, 28, head honcho of the African National Congress (ANC) youth league heaps prise upon the head of Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe.

Malema was to nationalise white-owned farms. Malema sings a song about shooting Boers. Malema is holding press conference. Malema attacks a white BBC journalist called Jonah Fisher. The hack keeps his cool, admirably – sensibly.

In South Africa, the Wold Cup is coming. It threatens to be a side issue…

Loloahi Tapui, 27, was found guilty of fraud by a jury. We like to think the worse of the politicos. But sometimes, they get set up. Whisper it, but some might ever be human…

Non PC David Cameron’s Apple Mac And Darts With Samantha

SAMANTHA Cameron is on the Webcameron, David Cameron’s video blog. At Sam & Dave’s house we can see that Dave has an Apple Mac. He really is non-PC Gene Hunt.

And Sam is… Well, Sam is Andy Fordham, the dartist (spotted by the Sun’s Ally Ross). She also speaks with a rhotacism, mirroring that ‘classless’ pronunciation of Jonathan Ross and David Bellamy. Darts and the common voice. Samantha Cameron might yet win the election for Dave – so long as ditches that Apple Mac…

Video: Tom Cruise, Russell Brand And The ‘Nazi Boy’ ‘Plot’ To Kill BNP Leader Nick Griffin

NEWS from the BNP Kamp is that the party’s publicity Mark Collett, aka “Nazi Boy” (see the videos here), candidate for Brightside, Sheffield, Ashley Cole rejecter, has been arrested on suspicion of trying to kill its leader Nick Griffin. Russell Brand and Tom Cruise are listening (more on them later).

Leaked papers claim that Collett, 29, tried to launch a “palace coup” against Mr Griffin. Yes, a “palace coup”. Whish is bit like a chicken coup but with more forks.

Says the missive from Kamp HQ:

We are able to say that Mark Collett was conspiring with a small clique of other party officials to launch a ‘palace coup’ against our twice democratically elected party leader, Nick Griffin.”

Twice democratically elected. Even Saddam Hussein – Mr 100% – could not top that.

In Pictures: Joanna Lumley’s Ayo Gurkhali Hammers The Nail Into The Labour Coffin

THE government is of course very foolish to upset Joanna – “Ayo Gurkhali!” – Lumley (again) over the Gurkhas. On Monday (or today if you’re reading this on Monday; or yesterday if Tuesday, etc) she will single-handedly hammer the last nail into the Labour coffin. I had hoped Labour would scrape home but I see now all is lost, thanks to Joanna, writes Madame Arcati.

As I write she is, as Lady Penelope once was, an untouchable national treasure, the embodiment of the upper class geist that is about to repossess the Brits for the umpteenth time through the 19th Etonian PM (to-be) aka the half-wit former PR David Cameron.

Britain’s War Of Independence: Obama Surrenders And London Rejoices

ON the Anorak Forums a debate is raging on the end of the so-called special relationship between Britain and US. Barack Obama doesn’t care much for the UK – and that’s pretty much how we like it. We like being the underdog in the UK.

This is our war of independence – and Obama surrendered without a fight.

Dear Gordon: Relationship Advice From Barack Obama

We can stand alone and moan and grumble. We need to be put in our place – a small, damp island off the coast of Europe. The US should make friends with France and further restore the sense of inferiority that made Britain great.

Birmingham Civil Servants Given 10 Minutes Toilet Time

AT the Government Office for the West Midlands, there’s a timer in the toilet. The Daily Star says “a hidden sensor switches off the toilet light after 10 minutes, forcing people to finish what they are doing and leave – in the dark”.

Or else swing the door open and close it again. Or else drink less water.

One worker from the Birmingham office said:

“This is both humiliating and degrading.”

Well, that’s working for the Government, pal where even taking the piss takes 10 minutes…

How The New York Tiems Reported Obama’s 15 Gimmicky Recess Appointments

THE media is biased. Well, yes. And the Pope has a balcony and Katie Price sleeps on her back. But the New York Times circumvents the issue of prejudice and spin by simply leaving out a story that paints Barack Obama as being just like George Bush, a man it calls gimmicky and opportunistic.

On January 9, 2006, the New York Times wrote;

Seizing the opportunity presented by the Congressional holiday break, Mr. Bush announced 17 recess appointments–a constitutional gimmick that allows a president to appoint someone when Congress is in recess to a job that normally requires Senate approval. . . . Modern presidents have employed this power to place nominees who ran into political trouble in the Senate. Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton made scores of recess appointments. But both of them faced a Congress controlled by the opposition party, while the Senate has been under Republican control for Mr. Bush’s entire five years in office

Says the paper of record on Obama’s 15 recess appointments…

Nothing.

Someone should tell the NYTimes so that they can write about it…

Puppet-Faced Alistair Darling Presents The Death Of Politics, A Windy Shadow Play

FOR a student of politics and an observer of humanity, one of the fascinating aspects of contemporary politics is how narrow, party politics and personalities have overtaken the real thing, to the extent that the professional politicians and their respective claques no longer have any real idea of what politics is about, writes Richard North.

Immersed in Westminster bubble gum, they have come to believe that the tat and trivia of their daily fare is politics, instead of the froth and theatre attendant on the exercise of power.

Then, suddenly, and probably unwittingly, we see on what is one of the most political of all days – budget day – The Times come up with the headline: “Nuclear and wind power will be at heart of Alistair Darling’s Budget.

Hugo Chavez’s First Blog Post Is Not Televised

HUGO Chavez, the leading socialist on the 24 omnibus to Camden and in Venzuela is getting a blog. And that’s just terrific because not too long ago Hugo was no fan of the web:

* “The Internet cannot be something open where anything is said and done. Every country has to apply its own rules and norms.”

That insight was spawned by German Chancellor Angel Merkel who, reprotedly, said soemthign similar. You know, Merkel, of whom Chavez says:

She is from the German right, the same that supported Hitler, that supported fascism, that’s the Chancellor of Germany today.

Oh, and he wanted to ban the locals from using Twitter as well:

* Chavez intends to ban Venezuelans from using twitter! Why?

Buried: Stephen Byers, Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt Put On Troughing Leave

Stephen Byers, Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt Put On Troughing Leave – THREE former Labour Cabinet Ministers were last night suspended by the Labour Party in a move which probably signals the total collapse of their political careers.

Labour Pigs For Hire, Allegedly: Hewitt, Byers And Hoon

Earlier the UK Prime Minister had refused to launch an inquiry into the alleged behaviour of the former close colleagues but after a Channel 4 screening of a Sting operation angry Labour MPs demanded immediate action.

Party sources said Stephen Byers, Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt had been suspended pending a full investigation, in what could be a “hammer blow” for Labour’s election chances, with echoes of the “sleaze” allegations that helped to bring down the Tories.

Samantha Cameron Pregnant And The Talk Is Of Dave Canvassing An Egg

IF there was one more thing that would smash the nail into Gordon Brown’s political coffin – smash it and smash it and keep smashing it – it would be Samantha Cameron bettering Sarah Brown, the PM’s pleading PR.

And so to today’s news that Samantha Cameron – slim, attractive, well-spoken and mannered – is pregnant. Thank God. Finally we can stop the pretence that this election is going to be close. Would the Labour Party pick on a pregnant women. Well, yes. But it looks bad.

The Guardian’s Michael White whispers about a “conspiracy”, which he then dismisses:

There will be no shortage of conspiracy theorists quick to claim that David and Samantha Cameron decided to have another baby as soon those opinion polls started to dip for the Tories in the new year. Anything to win that election, eh, Dave?

Cameron hasn’t impregnated Samantha, he’s canvassed an egg. But having introduced an appalling idea, White dismisses it:

This is not really how sex works…
